Friday Hunt v1.10

It’s finally Friday! Hopefully this one ends better than the last. I may just leave poor old Truck parked for the day! Once again I am joining Teresa at Eden Hills for Friday Hunt v1.10. This week we have the prompts  J, Favorite, and a cuppa.

JD Guckert is first. He is having a birthday the end of this month. He is also getting a raise in feed to try to get him on track to be finished by fall. I am currently looking for a buddy for him. I think he is lonely even with all the other animals out there as he bellows constantly. That or he just thinks he is abused since he can’t just eat 24 hours a day. Who knows with this big baby!

This is my favorite mug to have a cuppa coffee in. The picture on it was drawn by my youngest and I just adore it! I have it with me all the time. And while trying to figure out what exactly I should do for this prompt, I can across a song, Have a Cuppa Tea by written by Ray Davies and performed by The Kinks.

Here are a few of the lyrics…

“Whatever the situation, whatever the race or creed,

Tea knows no segregation, no class nor pedigree

It knows no motivation, no sect nor organisation,

It knows no one religion,

Nor political belief.”

This made me giggle as I head up to have coffee with the old farmers at the shop up town. We sit and drink coffee and disagree on most everything, but it is an enjoyable way to spend an hour or so when I am still laid off waiting to get busy again!

Hope you all had a wonderful week!

  1. JD is getting so big! I remember seeing him when you first brought him home. Love that mug. You have such artistic children. Thanks for joining me at Friday’s Hunt. (You should link up to Song-ography too).
